Since Day 1, we have rallied around a singular mission – to be an exceptional club AND neighbor. We believe soccer can be vital to the development of healthier bodies, stronger minds and a greater sense of teamwork throughout the St. Louis region. As we proactively and consistently invest in the physical and social well-being of our city, we will always strive to bring together our diverse community.
Our driving force will be access and inclusion – soccer for all.
We will develop sustainable soccer training programs and facilities, particularly in disinvested areas whose kids have less access to the sport. We will also build relationships with local organizations to promote well-being through youth soccer, neighborhood investments, health and animal welfare initiatives, and multicultural engagement.
By lifting up and inspiring our community through the power of sport, our club will be a catalyst for good – on and off the pitch.
CLUB OWNERSHIP
St. Louis CITY SC’s ownership group is 100% local with deep roots in St. Louis business, philanthropy and soccer, specifically the Taylor (Enterprise Holdings) and Kavanaugh (World Wide Technology) families. Led by Carolyn Kindle, our club will be the first majority female-owned club in MLS history and one of the few in professional sports globally. The same passion, focus and commitment to excellence that led to our ownership group successfully landing an MLS club in our city now drives us to make St. Louis CITY SC one of the league’s premier organizations – on and off the field.
