Job Description:

The CMO Controls Engineering Lead position provides leadership, manufacturing support and coordination of the Controls Engineering team members across all CMO lines. This position ensures that holistic integration of OT assets, project direction and coordination, equipment functionality, compliance support, and capital expenditures are executed per Jubilant HollisterStier management initiatives, compliance guidelines, the JHS project management system, and the capital budget schedule. It is the responsibility of this position to align and ensure compliance of the CMO equipment and team with state, local, and federal regulations. This position ensures controls initiatives, equipment operation and projects are carried out under adherence to GEPs and cGMPs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical oversight and leadership to the Controls Engineering team roles responsible for their areas of responsibilty within the CMO Business Unit.
  2. Drive holistic project implementation, technical improvements and internal/external responses to equipment and facility observations.
  3. Management of the assigned capital project schedules and budgets.
  4. Assign and oversee Controls Engineering projects including internal capital, compliance, and contract manufacturing.
  5. Coordinate, assign and align Controls Engineering for all automated equipment projects including internal capital, compliance, and contract manufacturing
  6. Coordinate and supervise Controls Engineering resources to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing for current and upcoming projects.
  7. Ensure designated area, equipment, and engineering infrastructures are compliant to local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies.
  8. Execute high level projects from conception, consistent with upper management objectives for business growth.
  9. Manage and execute facility and equipment updates to meet company growth and economic objectives.
  10. Support client audits and technical visits.
  11. Effectively communicate project status, constraints and current or potential issues to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • BS in: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of OT Controls system engineering experience
  • Pharmaceutical experience
  • FDA regulated Industry experience
  • Facility engineering experience
  • Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AutoCAD & SAP)
  • Ability to work independently without routine instructions.
  • Rockwell Logix Programmer Certification desired.
  • Allen-Bradley Controls System Hardware: PLC, PanelView HMIs, and Servo Drives experience desired.
  • Allen-Bradley Controls Software: RSLogix, Wonderware InTouch, InSQL Historian, Archestra IDE and DA Servers experience desired. Experience with Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk Studio Suite required.
  • GE Proficy Software Packages: Fix32, iFix, and Proficy Historian experience desired.
  • TCP/IP Networking and Microsoft SQL Server experience desired.
  • Experience with GAMP5 - Data Integrity required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $160,100.

Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibits outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
