Mechanic, Maintenance

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ Years of Related Commercial/Industrial Maintenance Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent education. Trade school is a plus.
• Good attendance is a must.
• Must be safety-minded.
• Must be able to safely operate a scissor lift & forklift
• Must have good communication skills and adequate PC (Microsoft Outlook) skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• General building maintenance/repairs, equipment maintenance/repairs, and help with special projects as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Some overtime will be required when needed. (5 to 8 hours on Saturdays with advance notice)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will have responsibilities in all areas related to maintaining the distribution facility infrastructure and equipment.

• Industrial maintenance activities include maintaining and repairing the facility lighting, emergency lighting, sprinkler system, plumbing, electrical, and customization equipment.
• Planned maintenance and repairs on motorized conveyors, auto-store equipment, and all other equipment operating in the distribution facility.
• Meeting the daily scheduled PMs and Maintenance repair requests.
• Following directions and communicating issues promptly.
• Competent use of hand tools and power tools.
• Working well with and around others without being distracted from job duties.

HOURS: 2nd shift: 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. (30 or 45 minute unpaid lunch).
