Responsibilities:

  • The Assembly Lead will be involved in setting up and managing a continuous flow line or assembly work cell.
  • Help develop assembly instructions, ensure assembly quality, monitor assembly line schedules, monitor assembly capacity, and teach the Intralox LCI philosophy.
  • Coordinate activities of Assembly personnel in support of completing day to day operational objectives with employee safety as top priority.
  • Utilize problem solving skills and knowledge of Assembly operations to troubleshoot when necessary and identify process improvements to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
  • Promote and participate with continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in the hiring of new employees and the training of existing employees.
  • Participate in employee performance feedback and planning.
  • Support supervisors by providing input about individual and team performance.
  • Works to identify resources and action required for employees to achieve their individual goals and monitor progress.
  • Identifies process improvements and works with others to implement with the right sense of urgency.
  • Safely operate various lift equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in warehouse.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management practices.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working on/with conveyor line applications/conveyance systems, or related manufacturing experience.
  • At least one (1) year of previous, formal supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience with identifying and implementing meaningful process improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong problem solver, team player and ability to build relationships with all types of people.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job requirements as identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Willing and able to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as needed.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Lean/5S Concepts
  • Intralox product knowledge.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.
Salary Range: $25.33 to $45.27/HR
