About the Opportunity
The Business Services Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the business and administrative functions of PBS NC's content production and distribution departments. This position is essential for managing complex partnership projects, ensuring that departmental objectives are met on time and within budget. The Business Services Coordinator will oversee financial resources, including vendor setup, payment processing, contract administration, and purchasing, while maintaining financial and contract databases. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential for success in this role.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, consistent with System Office policy. UNC System employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

About the Team
PBS North Carolina's Content division provides North
Carolinians with national and local programming and services of the highest
quality, using media to educate, inspire, entertain, and express a diversity of
perspectives.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Skills:
*Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial software.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively.
