We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Monroe, LA., at our hauling site. Shift starts at 3:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 50-60 hours a week. Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's. Pay Range: $20/hr. - 23/hr. Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit. On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation. Job Summary Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks. The ideal candidate will possess: 2+ years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance. ASE Certified is a plus. Class A or B CDL is a plus. The salary range for this position is $20/hr. - 23/hr.
