Partner with the best

As Market Intelligence Specialist, you will be the voice and interpreter of the data for our sales team leads, executives and other stakeholders in the organization. You'll have regular conversations where you will inform on insights and outlook on the market, customers, and competitors to provide a pathway for strategic decision-making. You'll be a Business partner to the North America Offshore Executive Leadership Team, Region Segment Directors and Product Line Sales Directors on an ongoing basis for any and all market and business intelligence related activities.

As a Market Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Consolidating, analyzing, and delivering key performance indicators related to market outlook such as revenue, TAM, market share and competitor intelligence.
  • Driving the digitalization of reporting and data analytics through use of Power BI, Power Apps, Thoughtspot and other software platforms.
  • Managing business and customer performance using rig count and other activity-based metrics on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Developing executive-level presentations for annual planning, operational townhalls, customer reviews and more.
  • Liaising with external market intelligence sources to develop well-supported macro-view of the market for Executive leadership teams.
  • Performing continuous market sizing (TAM/ SAS) and segmentation (geography, customer, segment and product line) for North America Offshore.
  • Supplying market share data, perspectives on market trends and competitor activities, market forecasts, and pricing information.
  • Providing analyses to support strategic thinking and operational decision making.
  • Advising colleagues and adjacent functional managers regarding projects, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related focus
  • 5+ years of experience in either a Market, Sales & Commercial, equity research or management consulting role
  • Advanced MS Excel experience and the ability to build presentations using MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, Thoughtspot, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues in a timely, efficient manner
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
