Responsibilities Has responsibility for all aspects of Credit Administration, loan approvals, number and quality of loans as well as the review of individual performance and training and guidance for a group of Commercial Lenders. Responsible for performing a variety of duties to meet the commercial services needs of business customers; achieving customer service goals as established in the Commercial Lending Department's annual operating plan; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the commercial services function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports and providing guidance to Commercial Loan Officers. Responsible to accurately risk rate assigned loan relationships on a timely basis. Essential Duties:
Ancillary Duties: As an integral member of the Commercial Lending Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Commercial Lending Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals. Qualifications Education/Training: B.S. or B.A. degree in related field of study; specialized bank commercial lending education and training. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematic skills; strong communication, sales and negotiation skills; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services; technical skills sufficient to provide guidance and training to all levels of Commercial Loan Officers; highest level of lending authority among Commercial Loan Officers; valid drivers' license. Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in related lending positions normally required.
