This opportunity is in the Account Services Department.

Responsible for seeing policies through to the finish line, our Account Services department facilitates the processes between Claims, Underwriting, and our brokers. Ranging from rating services to audits to operational guidance, the available career opportunities are abundant with varying levels of specialty. Role Description:

In the role of Technical Services Manager (internally known as "Manager, Technical Services"), you'll oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of the software systems that power our operations. You won't just be managing a team-you'll be a vital part of shaping the future of our technical services and leading the charge in implementing new, cutting-edge systems and processes.

As our Technical Services Manager your job duties will include:



  • Leadership with Purpose: You'll guide a talented team through exciting technical challenges while mentoring and fostering their growth. You'll have the opportunity to cultivate a high-performing and collaborative work environment that pushes the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Innovation at its Core: You'll collaborate with our IT department to identify and address system defects, implement enhancements, and ensure that all software changes are smooth, efficient, and designed with the user in mind. Plus, you'll get to innovate automated solutions that make a real difference in our day-to-day operations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: You won't just sit behind a desk-you'll actively engage with multiple departments including IT, Underwriting, and Claims to ensure that the technical side of things supports business goals. You'll be a key player in corporate projects and strategic initiatives, partnering with Insurance Operations management and driving innovation company-wide.
  • Professional Development: Not only will you be managing a team, but you'll also help shape learning and training initiatives, ensuring that everyone stays at the top of their game. Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Required Qualifications:



  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Experience or certifications in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise) and a background in the insurance industry is a plus

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
