What You'll Do
  • Interface closley with the Operations, SIOP, & Commericial Teams to compile & maintain schedule while fulfilling customer demand
  • Create daily schedules for departments, orders & line capacities in SAP: update my CMC & other applicable areas
  • Generate daily production schedules for Rolling Mill and Melt Shop using QMOS and/or AMI
  • Prepare & lead weekly required meeting (s) with SIOP team & local plant operations; understanding of scheduling successes, concerns
  • Provide recommendations to SIOP & plant management on anticipated inventory issues to prevent shortages of critical materials
  • Email daily production tonnage report; maintain open communication of status of production metrics; need for changes in schedule
  • Collaborate with SIOP team to maintain & manage the schedule integrity; perform other duties as assigned
  • Some travel required - initially for training, less than 10% long term
  • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
What You'll Need
  • CPIM, CSCP or other supply chain certification a plus
  • MRP and Forecasting experience preferred
  • 3-7 years of experience in Planning preferred
  • Support field sales efforts as necessary
  • Experience with or understanding of complex business processes
  • Intermediate to advanced computer applications skills in MS products
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with others
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships to drive results
  • Meet expectations of work quality
  • A collaborative partner capable of building cross-functional relationships to drive change and influence business decisions
  • Ability to make accurate and timely decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills - articulate communicator, adept in both electronic and verbal communications, professional appearance and demeanor
Your Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business or Accounting preferred
