Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS)

As our Test Engineer, you'll support HID's successby:



  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to translate software requirements into test cases and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Implement automated testing tools, develop scripts, and execute manual, automated, and performance tests.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolutions and monitor progress.
  • Drive product excellence by rigorously testing and validating features to meet performance, reliability, and security standards.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware setup and wiring.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.



Nice to have :



  • Experience with Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).
  • Experience in test lab and test bed development.
  • Knowledge of embedded applications, web services testing, and firmware testing.
  • Understanding of networking and experience configuring networked devices.
  • Familiarity with serial communications (RS-232, RS-485) and virtual machines.
  • Experience with IoT devices and cybersecurity testing methodologies.



YourExperienceand Education include:



  • 2+ years of experience in software QA engineering with Windows/Linux-based applications.
  • Strong expertise in functional, automation, and regression testing.
  • Proven experience in test planning, test case development, and applying QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in white, gray, and black box testing techniques.

The base salary in the California is $87,000 to $94,000
