Job Overview

The Associate, Calendar & Promotional Strategy is integral in driving sales and customer engagement through the creation and execution of the omni-channel seasonal marketing calendar. This role supports the development and implementation of impactful promotional events and architecture that align with brand, merchant and marketing initiatives and strategies. The Associate will leverage strong analytical skills to extract actionable insights to develop innovative sale concepts. With a collaborative mindset, they will work cross-functionally and communicate effectively to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives

What You Will Do



  • Partner with financial planning and analytics teams to develop daily sales plans and track event performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data, past performance and insights to identify future opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Assist in developing the execution of a comprehensive sales event architecture framework and calendar that aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Partner to create innovative and engaging concepts for seasonal, holiday, and promotional sale events.
  • Develop clear and concise messages for each event, ensuring customers understand the event's purpose and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute effective sales messaging across all channels.
  • Lead the planning and execution of sales marketing tactical support, including:

    • Partnering with marketing teams to gather information for creative style-outs and presentations, including messaging and product priorities.
    • Communicating marketing plan details and deliverables to cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration across digital and in-store channels for specific product priorities.
    • Reviewing all marketing assets to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and providing timely, constructive feedback.

  • Leverage data insights to optimize event performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in all aspects of planning and execution, from messaging to marketing assets.

Time Management: Prioritizes tasks effectively and manages time efficiently to handle various responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Project Management: Manages multiple tasks and projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 6+ years of marketing strategy experience.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
