ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Manager, Supply Planning S&OP, you will be accountable in developing and preparing the long-range capacity plan to support business objectives, growth opportunities and new product launches, while incorporating cost savings initiatives. In this role you will collaborate with cross functional teams via the monthly S&OP process with demonstrating commitment to supply planning process excellence and lean/continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain the long-range supply plan ensuring alignment with business objectives for assigned technology(s) via Kinaxis Rapid Response.

  • Lead the supply side (step 3) of the monthly S&OP process, providing input and recommendations during monthly S&OP meetings.

  • Drives decisions & trade-offs via scenario planning to optimize the supply plan and communicates to stakeholders.

  • Cross functional (& external) collaboration to maximize trade-offs across production, inventory & capacity.

  • Master data ownership & compliance.

  • Develop contingency plans and strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure supply continuity.

  • Measure, analyze & communicate key process metrics.

  • Supply planning lead for all new product launches and transitions impacting assigned technology(s).

  • Setting up and improving reporting, routines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • University/Bachelor's Degree required and 5 years of experience in supply chain (internships included), or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience in supply chain, OR, military experience considered in lieu of education requirement and 3 years of experience in Supply Chain.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Kinaxis Rapid Response experience/knowledge (capacity constraints, scenario modeling, PLH, etc); minimum 3 years.

  • Experience in step 1, 2, and 3 of an S&OP cycle.

  • Demonstrated results working in a team-based, cross functional environment.

  • Experience working with demand planning, business integration, customer supply chain, customer fulfillment, marketing, sales, and new part development.

  • Understanding of initial part data set up and hand off process for delivery a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time position, based in the Chicago office.

  • Office Work Environment. Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.

  • This role is not eligible for relocation.
