We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Global Content Manager to join our dynamic, high performing business team. You will be responsible to lead the GPG external communications across geographies and stakeholders to maximize visibility and support the business strategy, thereby helping to improve market position.

You are also responsible for ensuring executional excellence in all communications measures for the global business and for supporting business management in all communications matters.

Your responsibilities

  • Build effective media and content strategies across the full range of channels and formats to meet business goals - positioning, messaging houses, thought leadership, storytelling, etc. Support writing of press releases, success stories and miscellaneous content, including storyboards, social media posts, blogs, #Perspectives and expert content and topic briefs.
  • Coordinate all the editorial activities as well as oversee and implement content planning process and resources to ensure objectives and deadlines are met, including proofreading, editorial reviews, image and collateral selection, timelines, web and Social Media tagging.
  • Ensure excellence in production and timely execution, ensuring GPG/Functions content responsible deliver at standard required. Create engaging content and ensure consistency of messages and tone across all external channels (e.g press releases, editorials, bylines, campaigns and related assets).
  • Support content placements in key media, draft briefing to address media inquiries and interview requests. Oversee distribution, monitoring and reporting of all media and content related initiatives, particularly on the management and distribution of reports from dashboard BU reporting, internal distribution of news, Yammer, email to ambassadors, WhatsApp messages, etc. to drive people engagement and advocacy.
  • Build and maintain a culture of collaboration within GPG COMs peers, business units, regions and countries to produce relevant content that meets the needs of the internal and external audience. Executive content/ghost-writing: the creation of messaging narratives and executive profiles; writing of high-level event briefings; production of content for LinkedIn, Twitter, Yammer, internal memos and letters.
  • Employee engagement: employee interviews and storytelling; creation of internal messaging narratives and articles; translation of GPG strategy into employee-focused content.
  • Coordinate with Digital Communications Specialist on web-based content: website audits; SEO-aligned copywriting. Project management and delivering right and top-quality content for special programs and initiatives.

Your background:

  • Master's degree or graduate-level certification in communications, journalism or related field.
  • Professional work experience in a B2B communications environment, ideally with interest in technology, energy and innovation.
  • Experience with cross-function communications with focus on external editorial content (blogs, branding, web, social, etc.), understanding of the technology industry, and employee needs, flexible mindset to anticipate needs, changes, and react and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Experience in working in a global, complex, organization is a plus. Proven understanding of digital communications channels and the power of social media.
  • Proven experience in analyzing and developing relevant metrics in dealing with different stakeholders. International experience - cross-cultural.
  • Nice to have e-Mobility business knowledge or at least industrial technology sector, strong networking ability and multicultural credentials.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external partners at all levels to achieve goals and drive performance, ability to set priorities; coordination, planning and execution skills.
  • Self-starter: Proven organizational skills and project management experience, passion for innovation and bringing fresh ideas to the table, direct work experience with senior management and video or multimedia experience.
  • Excellent written/editing and oral English language skills are required - other languages are a plus.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Position to hold as an individual contributor, being part of a global team, without managing people directly.
