Reporting to the Safety and Health Programs Manager, you will will participate with mentors and staff in some or all of the following areas: - Analysis of existing safety program requirements in relation to contractually invoked governmental or consensus standards. - Assessment of field compliance with safety program requirements across multiple work disciplines and locations. - Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from assessments. - Report creation from data collected during assessments that creates value for organizational leaders. - Presentation of assessment findings to organizational leaders and subject matter experts. - Conflict resolution with multiple parties to bring out of compliance findings into compliance and improve organizational safety and health.

This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Idaho Falls, Idaho Campus.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Engineering, Safety Management.
  • A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:



  • Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)
  • Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)
  • PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
  • Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
