Overview

Position Summary:

Manages the overall operations, activities, and staff of assigned program site within direct area of responsibility. We are currenlty have an opening for a Program Manager position at our Adult Residential Program in Woodstwon, NJ.



Responsibilities

    Determine staffing requirements and in conjunction with the scheduling team, ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Hire and train new direct-care staff; set employee goals and objectives that are aligned with Bancroft Core Values and overall strategic plan.
  • Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policies and cultural objectives monitor and assist staff with work progress; model exemplary performance in relation to PWS safety, enrichment, and customer service to families.
  • Develop individualized training plans for staff; coach for success; support career paths of direct care employees.
  • In partnership with the human resources support team, ensure the retention of direct-care staff through organized management, inspiring leadership, and the delivery of promised support and training. Demonstrate clear presence-both actual and figurative-within his/her area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance including annual performance reviews and regular feedback sessions throughout the year.
  • In coordination with the assigned clinical staff (e.g., Center of Excellence), ensure that direct-care employees are always properly trained on the behavior plans of the PWS in his/her care. Model performance on behavior plans as needed. Lead problem solving exercises for the team.


Qualifications

Education & Experience: High school diploma with a minimum of three years of work experience providing direct service for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferred.
