As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the Product and Tech Finance Team, supporting the Email business segment. In this role you will be responsible for solving complex business problems spanning a wide range of cross-functional business activities, including deep analytics and business recommendations. This position will have a heavy focus on revenue and identification of key drivers in order to assist senior management in the decision-making process. Additional responsibilities include being the go-to person for preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses. - Act as the lead financial analyst for the Email business, specifically focusing on Mailgun and Mailjet, by supporting, discussing, and challenging financial implications with relevant stakeholders.
- Own and improve Email's detailed driver-based revenue model with an integrated set of assumptions and metrics, including bookings, retention rates, and unit economics.
- Use market information, SaaS metrics, and leadership input to enhance forecasting accuracy and provide greater insight into revenue drivers and customer segmentation.
- Participate in monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes for your assigned areas.
- Improve business case models, ensuring the appropriate financial governance and tracking customer profitability.
- Act as a valued business partner by providing informed, proactive analysis and business insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor - Finance or Accounting, business
- Proficiency in Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and financial skills with a data-driven focus.
- Experience with Looker, Netsuite, Aaro, Anaplan or other planning tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to visualize data and tell a compelling story.

The annual starting salary for this position is $80,000.00 - $100,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
