Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead Job Responsibilities:



  • Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
  • Obtains clinical history/informed consent from patients or patients' charts to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.
  • Coordinates new team member and student department orientation/training. Assists with patient and team member scheduling to enhance the productivity of the department.
  • Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies for procedures.


Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead Additional Requirements:



  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday Variable Shift
  • Education: Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography, Nuclear Medicine or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT, Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Licensure: Must be certified by at least one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist(ARMRIT), Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support Certification
  • Experience: Three years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality, Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI or Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment, Recent hospital experience.
