Continuous Improvement Manager

  • Manage and oversee the overall operations of continuous improvement efforts in the Sealy Plant network.


  • Communicate projects and responsibilities to the team and ensure that all deliverables are completed according to schedule.


  • Ensure that the team's work product meets or exceeds the highest professional and company standards.


  • Provide feedback to and conduct regular performance reviews for those within your discipline area for whom you are responsible.


  • Ensure that proper oversight of equipment is taking place.


  • Collaborate with other management to determine whether and how suggestions resulting from department audits should be implemented.


  • Help to establish and implement engineering department policies and procedures that fulfill executive management's expectations for the company.


  • Assist Engineering Supervisors in handling issues and resolving concerns for those within your discipline area. Report highly sensitive or unresolvable issues to Senior Engineering Managers or the Department Director.


  • Ensure that members of the engineering department adhere to all corporate policies and procedures.


  • Provide general leadership to all members of the engineering department.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.


  • 6 years of related experience or training is required.


  • Professional license or additional training in area of supervision is desirable.
