LOCATION: Chandler, AZ

STATUS: FT/40 hours per week

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Salvation Army Chandler Corps is looking to fill a fulltime Administrative Assistant position. The successful candidate for this position will have social service experience, data entry skills, and be well organized. This position is benefit eligible and comes with vacation, sick, health, vision, life insurance, and more.

The Administrative Assistant will Prepare correspondence, assist with tenant screening and application process and maintain volunteer data for all programs. This person will answer telephones, provide information, and transfer calls appropriately. This position will gather statistics and create monthly reports for entry into database. Other duties will include ordering office supplies, managing mail pick up and drop off, property management responsibilities and note taking for assigned meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma with some experience and/or education in office Administration
  • Data Entry skills
  • Social Service experience
  • Property management experience preferred
  • Must be well organized and detail orientated.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of Volunteer and employee issues
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Inventory and product ordering experience.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
