WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking a candidate who will provide support in the areas of project management, content development, media relations, partner engagement, digital and social media, and more for programs and campaigns with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As part of a team, you'll collaborate with creative, writing, and communications staff to provide quality services to our federal clients.

Responsibilities include:


  • Supporting the coordination and tracking of project timelines and deliverables.
  • Providing project management support, such as note-taking, schedule coordination, monthly status reports, assistance with invoicing, and coordination with the Finance and Accounting Team.
  • Supporting the preparation of client-facing materials and documentation, including plans, presentations, memos, meeting notes, and reports.
  • Supporting communications projects in the areas of content and creative development, stakeholder engagement and outreach, public relations (PR), and social media.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic communications and campaign plans.
  • Contributing to the development of designed materials (e.g., templates, social graphics, brochures) and content (e.g., FAQs, PowerPoint slides, website copy).
  • Providing support with media relations activities (e.g., building media lists, tracking coverage).
  • Providing digital marketing support (e.g., developing content calendars, writing social media messages, writing eblasts, and drafting analytics reports).
  • Providing partnership engagement support (e.g., researching potential partners, providing logistics support for partner activities, developing toolkits).
  • Staring to show initiative, ask meaningful questions, and understand the context behind the work.

Qualifications:

Required -


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience 2+ years in project management support and marketing strategy/strategic planning.
  • Experience supporting various facets of communications and marketing plans including strategy development media relations, social media marketing, and project management.
  • Excellent organization, writing editing, and oral communication skills.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Strong quality control, proof-reading, and written communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.

Preferred -


  • Previous agency experience.
  • Background or interest in public health.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
