About the role

This is a leadership role as a senior member of the Financial Reporting Team in Finance Actuarial. The role includes a broad scope of responsibilities related to European Embedded Value, cashflow testing, actuarial components of US statutory statements and other cross functional reporting needs.

What you will do

• Typically leads a section or function within a product line such as product development, financial reporting, management reporting, experience studies, risk management reporting, and actuarial research.
• Responsible for actuarial reports, projects, and analysis.
• Improves processes and creates efficiencies with reporting, documentation, and transparency.
• Usually supervises small actuarial teams of analysts and actuarial students.
• Commitment to self development and advanced industry knowledge.
• May assist with division and actuarial team strategy.
• Approximately 30% of time spent on recurring duties, 40% on project related work, and 30% management related duties including reviewing work and developing employees.

Compensation

Salary Range:$121,300 - $202,200plus eligibility for annual bonus programs

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background including college level mathematics.
• 5+ years of annuity related actuarial experience.
• Finished with actuarial exams (FSA), or career ASAs with 15+ yrs. Experience.
• Has a profound understanding of fixed indexed annuity
• Proven ability to adhere to due dates and strong sense of accountability
• Ability to work collaboratively and guide junior actuaries
• Experience with MG-ALFA a plus but not essential
• High school diploma required
