Work Schedule:

We have a multiple open positions offering a variety of FTE, schedules, locations and modalities (x-ray, CT, MRI, IR). Weekend, call and holiday rotation required.

Pay:



  • UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. These positions are eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance up to $5,000 may be granted for eligible applicants.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to:



  • Perform a wide variety of imaging exams and specialized procedures on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolation precautions when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Job duties will vary based on modality (x-ray, CT, MRI, IR).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • Previous healthcare experience Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required
  • Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital - on Madison's east side - provides post-acute inpatient rehabilitation care in a free-standing rehab hospital. The 50-bed hospital offers short-term inpatient rehabilitation services and education for people recovering from an injury or an illness and will specialize in helping patients regain their ability to perform daily tasks, regain cognitive processes and physical function, restore basic life skills and facilitate psychosocial adjustment and return to the community.

UnityPoint Health - Meriter - This position is located at our partner organization, UnityPoint Health - Meriter, a 448-bed community hospital located at 202 S. Park Street, Madison, just two miles from University Hospital. UW Health partnered with UnityPoint Health - Meriter in 2017 as a way to better serve our community by leveraging the complex, tertiary capabilities of the UW Health system and the community-based hospital and primary care capabilities of UnityPoint Health - Meriter.
