Position Title: Wealth Associate Summary Senior Wealth Associates will continue to advance in the Wealth Advisor career path while actively participating and gaining exposure in all areas of Wealth Management. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Client Responsibilities
- Will participate, take notes, and present in client meetings with a Wealth Advisor
- Coordinate with client for data, meeting preparation, or follow up as needed
- Outline/summarize client meeting, recommendations, and action items for review with a Wealth Advisor
- Draft client emails subject to review by Wealth Advisor
- Will be expected to have a higher level of communication with clients
- Operational functions and general client service items
- Basic client communications (updates/next steps of a given task)
- Client onboarding - full process, start to finish
- Money movement
Team Responsibilities
Mastery in detailed and more complex client scenarios within various financial planning software for the wealth advisory team
Begin identifying potential leadership opportunities within the firm
Participate and be a valuable contributor in various team meetings across departments
Note-taking in client and internal meetings, tasking within CRM software, follow-through in all client engagements
Meeting preparation - portfolio reviews, agendas, reports, etc.
Training and mentoring other/new Wealth Associates; reviewing Wealth Associate work, as needed
Assist with research and creation of educational and training materials
Firm Responsibilities
- Understand and support the firm's vision, mission, and strategy
- Engage in teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm
- Participate in the Wealth Advisor Residency Program
- Timely completion of all firm and parent company training
Degrees and Designations
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degree
- Consider additional education and credential opportunities
Experience Requirement
- Professional work experience required (1-3 years)
- Pass the CFP exam within two years of hire date (some exceptions may apply)
- Satisfy all responsibilities and requirements of Wealth Associate role
