Responsibilities

Cloud Specialist The future of world-class mission support and innovative ground system architecture and software is being developed today at Arcfield. The Enterprise Data Applications and Platforms (EDAP) group delivers enterprise solutions for data-centric and service-centric capabilities to empower our customer's most important development, test, and operations activities. You'll be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a multi-cloud solution, including design and architecting activities. Experience with on-prem and off-prem, as well as hybrid solutions is preferred. You'll aid in the delivery of Platform-as-a-Service and Data-as-a-Service offerings, which will be made available to the wider Intelligence Community. You'll be able to innovate through micro-service design teams including A&A services and API Gateways. You will work seamlessly with other government and contractor team members in a challenging work environment.

  • Integrate emergent cloud technologies into existing infrastructure through Agile development
  • Identifying deployment and integration issues with current technology and solving critical vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with current platform developer to identify and implement optimal solutions in cloud environments
  • Ensure future cloud architecture is sufficiently designed to achieve platform technology roadmap

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires 8-10 years with BS/BA or 6-8 years with MS/MA or 3-5 years with PhD
  • Posses and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Requires 5+ years' experience in Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA), acquisition, and the Intelligence Community.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other government and contractors in an intellectually challenging work environment.
  • Certifications in one or more Cloud Service Providers (Azure, Google, Oracle, etc).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure, Oracle or Google cloud offerings in federal space highly desired.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA Atlassian commercial tools.
  • Experience or training with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodologies.
  • Experience with on-prem and off-prem as well as hybrid cloud offerings
