Description
GAI Consultants is looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to provide direction to the civil discipline, including delegation of tasks to engineering/drafting staff, preparation and checking of calculations, drawing development, preparation of deliverables, and budget tracking. This position requires the coordination with the Engineering Manager, overall Project Manager and other discipline leads within GAI (such as mechanical, electrical, process, civil, and geotechnical engineering). Job Duties: * Staff management duties include planning, mentoring, and coaching junior level engineering drafting and field staff. Education
Bachelors of Civil Engineering (required)
Experience
12 - 15 years: Knowledgeable in NPDES Permitting requirements and construction practices. (required)
Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, HY-8, Pondpack, Hydraflow, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other related engineering software. (required) Licenses & Certifications
Professional Engineer (required)
