Ping is looking for an Art Director for our In-House Brand and Creative team.

Together we'll design work on a wide range of global touch points including Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation Campaigns, Events and more. The ideal candidate is proficient from big idea concept ideation to visual art direction to production, ideally with experience from well known creative agencies developing 360 integrated campaigns (including Video, Social, and Web) from concept to completion showing steady growth from junior production design roles to mid-level Art Director.

Responsibilities:

Creative & Design



  • Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Product Marketing to shape Ping's first impressions and customer journey, and develop design treatments and style guides for multi-channel assets.
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution, designing presentations that maintain a strategic thread from concept to execution.


Brand Stewardship



  • Enforce the Ping brand look and feel across all content and channels, refreshing and extending the visual identity through various media.
  • Establish best practices and provide art direction to ensure quality and alignment in content, working with external agencies and freelance designers.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to design global and localized sales materials, approaching projects with a strategic lens and strong storytelling skills.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Advertising/Portfolio school or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience, with Five (5) or more years as an Art Director (Advertising Concept, not just graphic design or production) in a well-known agency or leading/high-profile brand.
  • Strong background in advertising, a strategic mindset, and a talent for creative brainstorming and execution creating marketing/advertising campaigns across marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print - from concept to completion
  • Possesses strong communication design skills, understanding the synergy between layout, color theory, typography, and information hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Office, Slack, Asana; mid-level proficiency in After Effects.


Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
