Support Technician

Assists maintenance department by performing general laborer duties including janitorial services for the general factory and office areas. Performs various janitorial type duties in addition to facility security duties.

• Provide general housekeeping and janitorial services for cafeteria, restrooms, factory, and office areas.
• Maintain security operations for the facility.
• Perform roof drain inspections.
• Inspect, clean and maintain oil crib organization.
• Properly fill propane bottles.
• Boiler start up before plant operation begins.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
