Knowledge / Qualifications you should bring to this position

  • Journeyman License
  • Understanding of Local and National Electrical Codes regulations and Safety Procedures
  • Ability to follow process flows of incoming and outgoing product
  • Will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push and pull throughout shift
  • Ability to be Confined Space Trained and enter confined space as required
  • Independent worker, ability stay on task without supervision
  • Must have prior experience with Electrical work low voltage test systems, 120V, 208V/240V, 3phase 480V
  • Ability to works at heights 30' + and certify and follow all fall protection processes.
  • Ability to certify on equipment operation, Scissor lift, man lift, forklift and others
  • Experience with HVAC and large pumps
  • Understanding of LOTO and safety processes
  • Understanding of Flash ARC and its hazards

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, diagnose, trouble shoot and repair electrical systems
  • Strong Understanding of wiring, circuits and other electrical components
  • Understanding of Local and Nation electrical codes. Regulations and safety procedures
  • Must report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and safety violations immediately
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area and storage/office area
  • Perform any other PM/FM or GM assignment by Team Lead or Maintenance Supervisor
  • Use a team-oriented approach and be willing to train other Technicians and learn other plant processes
  • Ability to follow all designated safety policies/practices/guidelines: including but not limited to use of PPE, wear safety toe footwear and safety glasses at all times in production and Flash Arc protect as required
  • Effective time management
