Job Description

The Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Missouri invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Veterinary Anatomy in a Tenure Track or Non-Tenure, Teaching Track position.

The successful candidate will provide essential lecture and laboratory instruction in veterinary large and small gross anatomy and neuroscience. They will join an experienced and dedicated team of veterinary educators within the department.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Applicants should have a D.V.M., Ph.D., or equivalent degree in a relevant field, and should be able to provide evidence of exceptional teaching ability.

Candidates will also be evaluated on: Candidates seeking a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential of establishing a nationally recognized research program and obtaining extramural funding. Candidates seeking an Associate Professor level position, either tenure-track or with tenure, should have an established, extramurally funded, nationally recognized research program. A successful candidate is expected to possess the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups with a variety of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies.
