Industrial Hygienist EH&S Admin Full Time 81342BR Job Summary The Industrial Hygienist serves as the technical expert for UCSF's clinical safety and industrial hygiene programs. With minimal supervision, the incumbent is expected to independently perform a wide spectrum of industrial hygiene services to include occupational exposure monitoring, indoor air quality investigations, hazard/risk assessments, local exhaust ventilation assessments, accident investigations, respirator fit testing, and others as required. The IH must be proficient in technical report writing and have the ability to explain complex topics to a wide ranging audience across the UCSF campus and Medical Center communities. Additionally, the IH is required to perform Environment of Care audits in accordance with Joint Commission accreditation requirements across UCSF Medical Center, which includes a working knowledge of fire/life safety, infection control, and emergency management principles in health care. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84,600 - $126,900 (Annual Rate).
