The Opportunity QuidelOrtho is seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our R&D Instrument Platforms organization to provide technical responsibility for the realization of enhancements, quality improvements, and obsolescence changes within our portfolio of products. The individual should have an eye for creating custom engineering solutions and be well-versed in each stage of the R&D systems life cycle while driving results within the project constraints of schedule, cost, performance, quality, and reliability objectives under guidance of senior staff. This position will be onsite at our Rochester, NY office. The Responsibilities

Flexible work hours to meet project deadlines. Physical DemandsTypically, 40% of time in meetings; 60% of time at the desk on computer/doing paperwork/ on phone, doing analytical work. Walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time are routine to accomplish tasks in this role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Salary TransparencyThe salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $80,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays.
