Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved Position Summary: Parker Lord Electromechanical Systems (EMS) is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who has working experience designing, developing and verifying embedded software in aerospace and/or industrial applications. The candidate should be familiar with industry-standard software development and design assurance practices (such as DO-178 or IEC 61508) and their application across the entire software development lifecycle. This position is in Cary, NC with 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home schedule. This position is in the Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) Division of Parker Hannifin. Essential Functions: Our charter is to develop electromechanical sensing and actuation systems in the following areas: active noise and vibration control, drive shaft torque sensing, and tactile feedback / steer-by-wire. The Software Engineering team works closely with the Systems and Electronic Hardware Engineering teams to develop, qualify and certify these technologies as products for our customers in aerospace and industrial markets.
