Operate and maintain diving equipment in accordance with IMCA guidance and Classification Society Rules under direction of Diving Equipment Manager. Responsible to ensure that all dive equipment in the yard planned maintenance and certification is maintained up to date and is in keeping with statutory rules and regulations. Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance/repairs are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company procedures. To have proven trouble shooting capabilities in multiple systems. To assist and mentor Dive Technicians working towards goal of Senior position. Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL * Also manages the offshore diving personnel working in the yard, conducts Safety Meetings, and approves JSEAs and Permits to Work. Qualifications
REQUIRED * 5+ years of related field experience within the diving services industry involving commercial diving focused on oil & gas projects or equivalent combination of education and experience. PREFERRED * High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS * Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving. WORKING CONDITIONS This position is considered SHOP/INDOORS WORK which is characterized as follows. * Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
