At Sentry, we realize that getting valuable, hands-on experience is important for you and your career. We're looking to recruit UW-Stevens Point for our Claims Co-op program. In this program you'll have the opportunity to work part-time while attending classes and full-time during summers. Our co-op program is designed to provide you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in our Stevens Point location. What You'll Do The Claims co-op students will work closely with a mentor to understand how claims are handled. Our Claims Co-op offers opportunities to: Assist claims representatives with claim handling activity Support internal and external customers with empathy and understanding Document claim files with information provided Bilingual support as applicable Access to insurance course work including licensing and designations Professional and Personal development opportunity Develop knowledge of claim handling best practices and jurisdictional requirements (participation in Basic Claims Learning) Obtain required licensing as needed What it Takes In order to be eligible for this elite opportunity you must meet the following criteria: Pursuing an undergraduate degree Obtain a minimum GPA of 2.7 Graduating in May 2026- May 2028 preferred Ability to work up to 20 hours a week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours a week during breaks Ability to work in a team atmosphere Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience What You'll Receive Real work experience in a professional setting Opportunity to unleash your talents and add value to the organization Competitive compensation Free access to Sentry's onsite Fitness Center, which includes an Olympic size pool, full size gym, racquetball court, and more Convenient on-site amenities such as our onsite credit union, auto center, theater, hair salon, restaurant, 18-hole championship golf course and more!
