Test Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

When a user integrates a new system, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful system development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced Test Engineer who knows how to thoroughly test systems and lead a team of engineers to make sure our team delivers a customer-focused engineering solution. This position will require travel of up to 25% of the time.

As a Test Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with the U.S. Air Force and external stakeholders to deliver data-centered solutions.

You will:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data center hardware and Command and Control (C2)

  • Conduct performance testing, stress testing, and scalability testing on data center systems

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system engineers, and operations staff to identify and resolve issues

  • Perform security and compliance testing to ensure data center solutions meet industry standards

  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of testing environments that simulate production data center conditions

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and testing practices in the data center industry

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with hardware and C2 interoperability and integration operations

  • Experience with Government test centers and proving grounds

  • Ability to organize, mentor, and advise a team of test personnel to ensure all test procedures are in compliance and appropriate for the test being conducted

  • Ability to organize, mentor, and lead a team of test personnel and work collaboratively with stakeholders to define test strategies, objectives, policies, and plans

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Ability to proofread test plans for Test Branch Chief

  • Ability to perform functions as a Test Branch lead

  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
