Summary This individual will work independently to make improvements to the traffic flow in the city and be charged with making Garland safer for all travelers. Will utilize engineering expertise to evaluate traffic efficiency and safety problems and be empowered to make both immediate and long-term improvements through the supervision of the implementation. Will be involved with traffic signal timing, design, and evaluation, traffic calming of residential streets, plan review, and coordination with various agencies. Expected to manage projects both internally and with outside engineering consultants. Also responsible for traffic operations, responding to citizen requests related to operational and safety concerns and traffic signal timing. Salary: $77,563 - 112,486 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
