Responsibilities

  • Input wires as requested from appropriate Bank personnel.
  • Verify and release the outgoing wires.
  • Balance daily wire activity.
  • Answer all branch wire-transfer related questions and external inquiries.
  • Assist with various clerical functions as needed in the Accounting Department.


Qualifications

Education: A.A.S. degree in Accounting, Business or Finance, or equivalent Accounting/Wire Room experience preferred.

Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and database management; strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in the Accounting Department of an organization or Banking or wire transfer experience.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
