You'll ensure our products are world class & exceed our customer's expectations. As a Mechanic, you'll repair engine components and parts. What you'll do: - Inspect engine modules and engine components. - Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality. - Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy. - Comprehensive understanding of inspection of complex parts, ability to provide guidance as they arise. - Ability to use hand and air tools such as pneumatic grinder, restoration hammer, and pry bar. - Knowledge of using measuring devices such as Caliper and Micrometer. - Team player and engage well with members to achieve common goals. - Willingness to learn and to understand cause and effects of each function within the process. - Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations. Position Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years job related training/experience. - Previous experience working at a Part 145 repair station. - Experience with repairing engine accessories. - Ability to read and interpret manuals, work instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions. - Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. - Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance. - Ability to stand for extended periods of time. - Ability to understand, speak, and write English clearly. Preferred Characteristics: - FAA Power plant certification considered an asset but not required. - Experience with Quantum or similar software.
