Description
Supports the Category Managers in determining the right strategy for each Category in area of responsibility. Recommends product assortment in conjunction with overall corporate strategy through collection and analyzing of data. Creates comprehensive product assortments by category for all FMP locations; fulfilling/satisfying regional and customer differences in demand. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Category Analyst will have content expertise in the following areas and will be responsible for the following reporting and communication requirements as deemed appropriate by the Category Manager:

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a company office building. Lifting requirements of up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis may be required. Wrist and finger manipulation due to computer work, calculating, compiling and filing. Equipment used may include but is not limited to computer, calculator, telephone, copy and fax machines.
