Description
GAI Consultants is seeking a Construction Coordinator is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work. The Construction Coordinator prepares daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules; checks shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations; keeps records of quantities and cost of materials used; prepares contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payment. The Construction Coordinator may supervise a staff of inspectors. Essential Functions:
