Description
GAI Consultants is currently looking for an Environmental Specialist to join our Indianapolis or Fishers office. The Project Environmental Specialist's primary work responsibility will be to conduct stormwater and other regulated waters permitting documentation, including erosion and sediment control inspection, stormwater pollution prevention plan modifications, and documentation of environmental resources for Transportation-related projects. The position will assist in compiling data, preparing water reports, and permitting documents directed by Task Managers and Project Managers. Responsibilities:
Some travel is required for this position and will predominantly be day trips related to fieldwork and construction site visits (overnight possible, but infrequent). Most travel will be within the State of Indiana. All-season safe-condition travel is a requisite. Night-time driving is possible, particularly in winter and during limited daylight periods of the year. Off-road driving on or to construction sites is occasionally required.
