Description Acara Solutions has been providing staffing industry services to aerospace and advanced manufacturing firms throughout the country for 65 years. Our national/international aerospace client has an opening for a Continuous Improvement Manager for their new plant in Auburn, CA (near Sacramento). This is a direct salaried onsite position with a base salary range of $120K - $153K.
This is an onsite on-the-floor position within an aerospace metal machine shop. Heavy Lean with Kaizen projects required.
As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will master the firm's Strategy Deployment Process ("SDP') and menu of lean manufacturing techniques. You will be a part of the development of the company's strategic plan and be a part of the execution of that plan via SDP. You will also develop mastery of key continuous improvement tools such as Standard Work, Kanban, TPM, 5S, Visual Management, SMED, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping. After training others on the use of these tools and leading Kaizen continuous improvement events, you will be responsible for assisting the organization in its daily use of the tools in both the factory and office.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
This is an aerospace ITAR facility, U.S. persons required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
7+ years
Six Sigma Black Belt (if none, they will require a Six Sigma cert within 12 months after start)
