A&P Mechanics

STS Technical Services is actively seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing intermediate to heavy maintenance tasks on commercial aircraft, ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and maintaining the highest standards of quality. • Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, modification, overhaul, and troubleshooting of commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  
• Rig flight controls and engine throttles with precision.
  
• Utilize FAA-approved data sources (e.g., IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) to guide maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
  
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
  
• Perform additional tasks as required by management to support aircraft maintenance operations.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience or on-the-job training.
  
• Licensing: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  
• Skills: Proficiency in the use of FAA-approved manuals and technical data (IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM).
