Part-Time Program Coordinator - Health Sciences Multicultural and Community Affairs

We are hiring a Part-Time Program Coordinator for the Health Sciences Multicultural and Community Affairs (HS MACA) department. In this role, you will coordinate and provide administrative support for HS MACA. Working in conjunction with the Program Supervisor and the Focus on Health Professions (FOHP) Middle School Coordinator, you will plan and implement activities for middle school students that are Health, Math, or Science related in target schools. You will travel to area middle schools and assist the Program Supervisor with various activities and initiatives. You will also be responsible for collating data gathered by the Middle School Coordinator (Feedback forms, Pre and Post Test) and working in collaboration with the Pipeline team.

Schedule: This is a part-time, benefit-eligible position, working approximately 24 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities



  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments;
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
  • Ability to lead and train staff and/or students;
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting procedures;
  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports;
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment;
  • Ability to prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred;
    4 years' administrative and/or office management experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook
