This position reports to

Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, as a Production Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing an assigned product group within the factory operations accountable for Safety, Quality, Revenue Achievement, Productivity & Efficiency. This operations position provides direct guidance to Production Supervisors and 200+ hourly associates and is required to function as the area continuous improvement (lean) champion.
The work model for the role is: onsite (Li-Onsite)
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Senatobia, MS.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
* Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
* Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
* Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/production management experience.
  • Experience managing direct Salaried Employees and indirect cross functional departments
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong ERP experience in Americas SAP (AMSAP) or SAP Torque. (Strong demonstrated experience in other ERP is considered)
