Job Description
Student intern to help characterize inspection recipes with optimized parameters for the best throughput and high sensitivity. The intern will be required to quickly learn several computer-based data analysis and WIP management tools in depth (PROMIS, Yield Manger (YM), Sleuth, JMP. Excel)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new recipe creation on automatic inspection tools
  • Help engineers to collect SEM images and EDX of defects to identify root cause
  • Learn to develop skill on SEMVision tool - supporting API recipes for new process
  • Help engineers to collect SEM images and EDX of defects to identify root cause
  • Improve statistical process control charts
  • Collecting data different parameter settings for best BKM on Altair inspection tool
  • Supporting engineer to collect samples for FA analysis & doing containment when excursion occurs

Assignment Complexity:

  • Ability to perform tasks that are simple to medium in complexity under guidance

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Be self-motivated and able to follow instructions
  • Able to learn quickly and efficiently to use computer-based applications
  • Able to perform experiments and interpret the results
  • Able to perform detailed data analysis and propose data driven conclusions
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing, device physics, and/or basic statistics are plusses

Supervision:

  • No direct management responsibilities

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in a clean-room environment with bunny suite & face mask

Experience / Education

  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • JMP Software experience is a plus

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Student in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry

**Must be able to commute and be on-site**
