We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to dive into federal contracting. Reporting to the President, you will support the identification and pursuit of construction and environmental opportunities, build key relationships, and contribute to our capture and growth strategies. This position offers hands-on training in proposal development, client engagement, and market analysis, with opportunities to travel and network at industry events. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in building and maintaining a capture pipeline by researching federal opportunities in construction (e.g., infrastructure upgrades, facility renovations) and environmental services (e.g., remediation, compliance monitoring) using tools like SAM.gov and agency forecasts.
  • Conduct client visits to federal agencies, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, or Environmental Protection Agency, to gather intelligence, foster relationships, and identify needs aligned with our expertise.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking conferences (e.g., Society of American Military Engineers events or environmental compliance forums) to generate leads, promote our brand, and represent the company professionally.
  • Support the President and Operations leads in developing branding and marketing strategies, including contributing to and creating content for proposals, social media, and targeted outreach campaigns to highlight our federal project successes.
  • Learn and contribute to proposal writing by researching requirements, drafting sections, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Drive lead generation through proactive networking, cold outreach, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn or GovWin to connect with procurement officers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to evaluate opportunities for profitability, assessing fit with our core competencies in construction management, environmental consulting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as CRM data entry (e.g., Salesforce), report generation, and post-event follow-ups to ensure a robust sales funnel.


This role involves up to 50% travel for client visits, events, and site assessments, providing exposure to diverse project environments across the U.S.
