The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, seek a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor. This position is intended for a child and adolescent psychiatrist who will join a multidisciplinary child and adolescent psychiatry department in a nationally ranked, freestanding children's hospital located on the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine campus.

Lurie Children's Hospital recognizes the impact of systemic, cultural, social, and economic factors on children and families, and values the diverse identities that build and enrich our hospital and the broader Chicago community. We are committed to welcoming staff and faculty from varied backgrounds because we believe that diversity strengthens the collective fabric of our medical center and fulfills our commitment to address the structural health disparities in the medical care of children. We seek employees who share this perspective, consider it important to their professional identity, and are representative of the families and children we serve. Responsibilities of this position include outpatient clinical and teaching duties, shared coverage of other clinical services, and scholarly output.

Qualified candidates will have experience and have excelled in teaching with a commitment to participating in an academic medical center environment. Crisis evaluation and treatment experience (ideally pediatric hospital-based) and board certified or eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry required. A documented record of academic productivity/potential, including peer-reviewed publications and grant applications is required. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus. Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States and licensure in Illinois. Licensure in Illinois and Lurie Children's medical staff membership are required before starting work.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full-time position. Start date immediate after licensure in Illinois and completion of credentialing. Applications will be evaluated as received. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
