Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Division of Palliative Care seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include attending on a busy inpatient and outpatient consultative pediatric palliative care service at Lurie Children's Hospital, supervising trainees from various disciplines, and participating in all activities of the Division. Qualified candidates will be Board-certified or eligible in Pediatrics Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Applicants with board certification in additional pediatric sub-specialties (Critical Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, etc.) will be highly competitive. The initial academic appointment at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience and academic achievement. The salary is competitive and adjusted based on experience. The successful candidate will join a growing group of practitioners, including 4 physicians, 5 APNs and a Nurse Coordinator. The program also includes a pediatric palliative care Fellowship, expanding to include a dedicated perinatal palliative care track. The division has a well-established consult practice with growing ambulatory expertise and infrastructure to support academic productivity.
